Composition Verification

Request a fiber composition test report from an accredited third-party lab. The report should confirm the stated juncao percentage and exclude adulteration with cheaper fibers. This is non-negotiable for any brand making public sustainability claims.

Step 4: Negotiate the Right Terms

Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ)

For juncao yarn, typical MOQs from genuine manufacturers range from 300–500 kg per colorway per yarn count for standard configurations. Custom blends or unusual yarn counts may require higher MOQs.

Be wary of suppliers claiming very low MOQs (50 kg or less) for custom specifications — this often indicates a trading company relying on small-batch production that cannot guarantee consistency at scale.

Lead Times

• Samples: 7–15 working days for standard configurations
• Production orders: 25–40 days depending on volume and customization
• Always build in buffer time — Chinese national holidays (especially Chinese New Year and Golden Week) affect all production schedules

Payment Terms

Standard terms for new buyers are typically 30% deposit + 70% before shipment or against B/L copy. As the relationship develops, T/T 30/60 or LC terms may be negotiable. Avoid full prepayment for large orders until you've completed at least 2–3 successful transactions.
